Not so much to light a cigarette but as you know this socket also works as a charging port for cell phones and other devices.

Under the hood next to the air box is a set of fuses and luckily BMW had the forsight to add a list of the fuses and what they are for. In this fuse box is a 7.5 amp fuse for the charging socket / cigarette lighter. When this fuse was replaced we thought we had solved the issue and to our surprise it still didn't work. Turns out in the trunk is another set of fuses and in this set the charging socket has another fuse and this one is 30 amps. This set of fuses is right next to the battery on the right hand side of the trunk.

<!--

If you've never had this problem you're lucky. The spare was dead, so we had no choice but to change the tire.

The problem is that the Lugnut feels like it has a cover, the out part of the lugnut feels like you should be able to pop it off, well the short answer is you can't and you don't. It's an oversized lugnut and you need to get a 27mm socket and breaker bar (not a ratchet, you'll break a rachet). You need a breaker bar which looks like a rachet socket but doesn't have a rachet mechanism making it stronger. Then you need an extender pipe, any metal pipe that extends the length of your breaker bar will work. Once you have that then you can start. We tried to take the covers off with a screw driver and just wasted time and energy. Don't bother cause they don't come off, they're not covers.

Tools needed:
    - 27mm Socket
    - Breaker Bar
    - Hollow Pipe to Extend Breaker Bar

THE LUGNUTS DO NOT HAVE COVERS, they are part of the lugnut.

Best of Luck.

<!--

Why? Because we have one First a little back ground about Land Cruisers.

The Toyota Land Cruiser built by the Japanese auto maker Toyota Motor Company started in 1951 as an answer to the American built off road on road Jeep. The Land Cruiser has been fashioned into many different models including convertibles and wagons. Still popular today the older Land Cruisers are constantly being reinvented with larger American made engines replacing the stock engines as well as modified suspension for even better off road capabilities.

The Land Cruiser is still made today and was remodeled as early as 2008 and now shares characteristics with the Lexus LS 570 and the second generation Toyota Tundra Pick Up Trucks.

For more information about Toyota Land Cruisers click here.

To see our Toyota Land Cruiser click here.

See us at www.vmwonline.com

<!--

It essentially dissipates heat from the coolant as it passes through the radiator and back into the engine block to keep the operating temperature at a premium level for your vehicle. It is recommended to change your coolant once a year to get optimum wear and use from your radiator. Over time corrosion can take place in the engine, hoses and radiator if coolant flushes are not performed. Radiators use to be primarily made from Copper and Brass. Nowadays they are mostly made from Plastic and Aluminum. Traditionally a four core radiator was the best cooling one could buy. However with technological advances most radiators run a one or two core high efficiency core. This core is thicker than the traditional radiator cores giving more cooling power to a single core. Meaning a traditional four core can now be replaced with a less expensive two core that offers equivalent or better cooling capacity.

<!--
